Minifor Laboratory Fermentor
The LAMBDA MINIFOR bench-top laboratory fermenter and bioreactor was developed as a result of the need to construct a small laboratory fermentor for volumes from 35 ml to over 6 liters.

Syringe Pump LAMBDA VIT-FIT
• Constant flow rate: In this standard application of the syringe pump – the flow rate will be kept constant during the preselected time period
• Profile: Permits varying flow rates to be pre-programmed (including exponentially increasing flow rate as used for e.g. in feeding cultures during fermentation, etc.)
• Increment: Stepwise increase of the flow rate over time (to make gradients)
• Decrement: Stepwise decrease of the flow rate
• Pause: Stops the syringe pump for a specified time before going on to the next step
• Timer: By programming a required time interval with zero flow rate as the first step before the program the syringe pump can be automatically switched on or off
• Stop: Stops the syringe pump after the program has finished.

MASSFLOW - precise gas flow measurement and controller
Programming: Up to 50 pairs of flow rates and times can be programmed. This allows the flow to be switched on and off or the setting of any flow rate for a desired time interval.
Gas volume totaliser: MASSFLOW generates impulsions after every 5 ml of gas flow. These impulsions can be totalled Lambda
Integrator (cat.no: 4803), measured as a voltage, recorded on a recorder or on a PC. In this way exact volume information can be obtained.
Zero setting: MASSFLOW is equipped with an automatic zero setting which further improves the precision of the flow rate reading. This function allows precise calibration when other gases are used.

Powder Dosing - Solid Feeding
Dosing rate: The digital dosing speed range from 0–999 allows a precise and reproducible solid flow rate (e.g. 50 mg/min to 50 g/min for NaCl).
Programmable: 27 pairs of dosing speeds and dosing times can be easily programmed.
Controlled atmosphere: Several seals make the DOSER air-tight and it can be used with a slight over- or under-pressure. The glass vessel can also be flushed by a neutral gas, if it is necessary for a given reaction.
Assembly and cleaning: The dosing apparatus has been constructed for easy assembly and cleaning. The DOSER can be coupled to all common glass recipients having standard ground fittings NS 29/32 or SVL threaded connectors. All parts in contact with the powdery substances are made of chemically resistant materials.

To supply vacuum or compressed air, e.g. for the aeration of fermenters and bioreactors in biotechnological laboratories not equipped by central air and vacuum lines, LAMBDA has developed an innovative, microprocessor controlled, pressure-regulated compact and virtually noiseless air compressor and vacuum pump – the LAMBDA AeroSilento.
